*Congratulations to Douglas Byrd and Henry Davis as they represented the Deer Park Chess Team in the Queen City Classic held Saturday at TQL Stadium. They captured the 3rd place team trophy. Douglas took the 2nd place individual trophy. Nice job by both members.
*Reminder for any student taking a CCP course next year, whether it's online or with a Deer Park teacher, there is mandatory meeting today in the library during your respective Xbell.
*There will be a Step-Up Club mtg this Wednesday the 18th! See you in the Cat Den!
*International Club will meet on Wednesday, March 18th in Madame Ligons’s room. Everyone is welcome!
*Newspaper meeting Tuesday, March 17th after school in Mr. Hubbard’s room (238). Anyone who wants to contribute to the April Fool’s edition is welcome to attend. This meeting will be brief to make sure everyone is able to get to Opening Chorus Rehearsal.
*March 20th will be our annual Blood Drive here at DPHS. If you qualify, we would love to have you donate! Beginning next week, students can find Mr. Hubbard (room 238) during x-bell, before school, or after school on March 11th to sign up!
*If you are interested in playing football, there will be an after school meeting today, March 16th in Mr. Gergen’s room. If you have any questions please see Coach Berger.
*Welcome to the fourth and final quarter of the year! Keep earning your Roar Rewards for weekly drawings and the one big drawing at the end of the quarter! Reminder, junior high tickets get turned in to Ms. Sullivan’s room and high school tickets go to the box in Ms. Hackney’s room.
*If you earned the third quarter roller skating trip, an info sheet will be coming your way soon! The junior high trip is next Tuesday, March 24 and the high school trip is next Thursday, March 26. See Ms. Sullivan with any questions!

*Parker's t-shirt forms are located on Schoology. All Money will be due Tuesday, March 31st. The t-shirts are CASH ONLY and money must be turned in to Ms. Baker!
