Deer Park Preschool Options

Welcome to Deer Park City Schools Preschool. Deer Park currently offers the programing options listed below:

 

Deer Park Preschool

  • Class Size: 14 children (per class)
  • AM & PM
  • Students must turn 4 by Aug. 1 of current year
  • Tuition-Based ($200/month)
  • Hours: M-F, AM: 8:30-11 a.m. PM: noon-2:30 p.m.
  • Staff:
    • Teacher: Erica Monahan
    • Teaching Assistant: Deborah Sporing (AM)
    • Teaching Assistant: Andrea Kemmeter (PM)
    • Amity Assistant Principal: Laura Warman
    • Program Supervisor: Patty Hadden
  • Must be a Deer Park resident to register

Preschool Connections 

Preschool Connections is now accepting registration for the 2024-25 school year. Contact Patty Hadden at hadden.p@dpccsd.org for more details.

  • Class Size: 12 children
  • Students ages 2-3
  • Cost: FREE
  • Day: Wednesday
  • Hours: 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. (Subject to change)
  • Staff:

    • Program Supervisor: Patty Hadden
  • Class is for parent/adult and child. Parent must present

HCESC Opportunities

HCESC

Deer Park partners with Hamilton County Educational Service Center  (HCESC) to provide Heaad Start preschool and special education preschool opportunities to Deer Park families.

 

Hamilton County Headstart Colaboration

  • Class Size:
    • AM: 18 children
    • PM: 18 children
    • An integrated program with 12 children who
      are typically developing and six children with
      an identified disability.
  • Cost: No Cost (Must meet Federal family income requirements)
  • Hours: M-TH, 8:15-11:45 a.m. or 12:30-4 p.m.
  • Staff:
  • Registration: Call HCESC Headstart. All registration is managed by Sandy Crowell.

Hamilton County Intensive Preschool Unit

  • Class Size:
    • AM: 6 children
    • PM: 6 children
    • Students determined based on IEP Team decision for placement
  • Cost: No Cost
  • Hours: M-TH, 8:15-11:05 a.m. or 12:15-3:05 p.m.
  • Staff:
  • Call Director of Student Services at  513-936-5937 or email. Students with a suspected disability MUST register with the district. ALL children must have a birth certificate to be enrolled.
