Secondary Mathematics
Students in grades 7-12 math will be learning using Illustrative Mathematics. Illustrative Mathematics is a problem-based core curriculum for 21st century learners designed to address content and practice standards to foster learning for all, preparing students to solve problems, reason, communicate, and think critically in the classroom and beyond.
Junior High School ELA
On July 20, 2021, the Deer Park Board of Education approved a new curriculum for English Language Arts grades K-8. Grades 6-8 adopted "Into Literature."
The K-8 teachers have been working tirelessly over the past year and a half to find the best curriculum and resources for their students and we are confident we have landed on the best.
